The cnc four-axis machining center was first used in the processing of curved surfaces, that is, the processing of blades. Nowadays, the cnc four-axis machining center can be applied to the processing of polyhedral parts, spiral lines (cylindrical surface oil grooves) with spiral angles, spiral grooves, cylindrical cams, cycloid, etc., which are widely used.

From the processed products, we can see that the cnc four-axis machining has the following characteristics: due to the participation of the rotary axis, it makes the processing of flawless curved surfaces possible, greatly improving the processing accuracy, quality and power of free space curved surfaces; three-axis processing machine tools The processing of workpieces that cannot be processed or need to be clamped too long (such as long-axis shaft surface processing).

It can be completed by the four-axis rotary table, shorten the clamping time, reduce the processing steps, stop the multi-step processing through one positioning as much as possible, and reduce the positioning errors; the tool is greatly improved, the tool life is extended, and it is conducive to the production concentration.

The cnc four-axis machining center generally has two kinds of machining methods: positioning machining and interpolation machining, which correspond to polyhedral parts machining and rotary body summing machining, respectively. Now, taking a four-axis machining center with an A-axis as a rotation axis, for example, the two machining methods will be discontinued.
